Our fabulous Rusticus Knights are out on the road again this year, galloping their way into events at Bolsover Castle, Burnby Hall & Gardens and Sewerby Hall & Gardens. And in a first for them, get to accompany some ‘proper’ knights in the Legendary Joust at Bolsover Castle for English Heritage on the August Bank Holiday weekend (23 – 25 August 2025).
We’re particularly proud of this show as it reflects our ethos of failing joyfully together – although we don’t take ourselves too seriously we do take the craft of entertaining others very seriously indeed. In the Knights, the audience get to be the bravest and the most chivalrous – helping Sir Prancealot and his page, Prentice understand what it really means to be a Knight of the Round Table! We receive lovely feedback for the show – including from the Wild Child Photographer who captured this wonderful image of our recent performance at Sewerby Hall & Gardens!
