The Brief

We were contacted by Jayne at Banana Enterprise early in 2024 – they were spearheading a campaign to save the historic Rock Hall in the Moses Valley Country Park near Bolton, as a resource for the community. Could we help with attracting audiences to their events programme to raise awareness of the hall and it’s significance to the local community?

What We Did

We created a brand new Rusticus Adventure -The Land that Time Forgot – which asked audiences to look at the hall and it’s grounds with fresh eyes. Who might have called this place home over the millennia and who might once more in the future? With fun accessible characters delivered in our trademark interactive and engaging style we felt that the adventure would invoke a spirit of curiosity and discovery in local families – just what they need to engage with saving Rock Hall.

The Result

We had a wonderful day going on adventures with new audiences in Bolton which provided families with memorable moments and new connections with Rock Hall and it’s grounds. We also adapted the show for the grounds at Sewerby Hall & Gardens and delivered a further seven days of performances there in Summer 2024.
