The Brief

In late 2021 we were approached by the team at Luna Cinema with something of a specialised request – could we provide a team of professional performers for the hugely popular Friends Festive event to animate the iconic Holiday Armadillo – as made famous by Ross Geller in the TV show Friends.

What We Did

We galvanised the troops quickly – identifying performers with the right approach, comedic ability and energy from our existing pool – and casting outside of it where needed. Allocating a project manager to oversee the team’s assimilation into the existing event team at Friends Festive, we found our feet quickly and created a covid-safe but rewarding interaction for audiences which was received with great enthusiasm and garnered considerable social media attention.

The Result

We successfully delivered the Holiday Armadillo grotto for a total of 40 days at The Winter Gardens, Blackpool and Truman Brewery, London.
