The Brief
Following the success of the Wizards Gathering experience at Sledmere House’s Spooky Barns in 2023, we were asked to return for October 2024. Can we create a brand new story whilst retaining the flavour, tone and style of the previous experience so that there is continuity for existing audiences.
What We Did
We created a brand new story which centered around a magical beast incursion and featured brand new Wizards Nefarious and Wizard Mellifluous. We crafted the story into a hosted event – where groups of audience are guided through different beautifully atmospheric dressed spaces and take part in activities including broomstick flying, spellcasting and codebreaking. As in 2023, the aim was to tie our activities into a broader theme which included animal handling experiences and a trail around the grounds.
The Result
We delivered six successful days of the Wizards Gathering experience and the audience feedback with regards to our second year of delivery has been overwhelmingly positive!
