The Brief
We were intrigued with the brief for the ever-popular Skelves in the Summer of 2023. How could we create something that tied into the Christmas theme in the house this year – Neverland!
What We Did
Our immediate thought was of the parallels between the Lost Boys of Neverland and the Skelves – living at one with nature, playfulness and freedom! We were determined to try and create these feelings in our audiences this Summer. We created two separate strands to the delivery – a brand new walking adventure Journey to Neverland in which the Skelves dabbled with magic to try and find their way to Neverland before realising that they would rather live in the world around them, and Spell Camps in which audiences could enjoy making magic and taking part in outdoor craft activities.
The Result
We had a delightful Summer making magic with audiences whilst introducing them to new corners of the estate around Ray Wood and the Great Lake!
