Illuminated Halloween Trail
Quarry Bank Mill / Culture Creative 2024
The Brief
Following the phenomenal success of the Illuminated Halloween trail at Blenheim Palace in 2023, we were asked to join Culture Creative as they created the same immersive experience at the historic mill site at Quarry Bank for the National Trust.
What We Did
We leapt into action and recruited a high quality local team from our existing pool of valued performers. For the first year at Quarry Bank there was to be one performer who would act as the host / custodian of the mill buildings and our costume designer, Emma, got busy with atmospheric period costumes to reflect the mill owner / foreman of the day. This was to be the first time that one of our characters had interacted with historic buildings on the trail so we wanted to get them right!
The Result
The trail was incredibly well received, with a prominent local blogger singly out the performance of the Mill Master as being the highlight of the event and plans are afoot for an even bigger and better trail in 2025!
