The Brief
Following the success of our 2023 walkthrough Magical Santa Experience, our client was keen to create a brand new narrative which would work within the format and which would take audiences on a new journey through the indoor spaces at Home Farm, Sledmere.
What We Did
First order of business was to agree with the client which spaces were going to be available for the experience and what a potential route through them might look like. With this established we were able to create an exciting narrative within the new theme – Journey to the North Pole – in which audiences would find their way to Santa’s cosy hidden North Pole home with help from the Toy Soldier and via the Queen of the Snow Flake’s icy Kingdom. Music was central to the delivery of the new narrative, marching to the Toy Soldier’s drum and creating icy soundscapes with the Queen of the Snowflakes before helping Santa finish his new Christmas song! As before, audiences could enjoy free play time and refreshments in the North Pole village area as well as a fantastic tractor and trailer rides to meet the estates’ herd of red deer!
The Result
We had another fantastic Christmas season at Sledmere helping families to have a joyful musical Christmas experience in the most magical of settings!
