The Brief
We were delighted to be invited by English Heritage to add a fun interactive experience for families to their iconic bank holiday event – the Legendary Joust at the fabulous Bolsover Castle!
What We Did
Our Rusticus Knights fitted the bill perfectly – The Knights of the Round Table is a fun and engaging outdoor performance for young people and their families which celebrates the evocative world of the medieval knight. The performance is designed to be delivered to a seated or static audience with chairs, picnic blankets, hay bales etc to perfectly suited to the event. Audiences took part in a quest to prove their worth to King Arthur himself – featuring feats of bravery, chivalry and a real live ‘jousting’ activity!
The Result
We delivered three shows a day across the August bank holiday weekend with fabulous audiences all enjoying the opportunity to try out hobby horse jousting for themselves!
