Illuminated Halloween Trail

The Brief

Following the continuing success of our character interactions on the popular Illuminated Halloween Trail at Blenheim Palace, we were asked to replicate the magic for a trail at Kew Gardens which was to be as grand in scale and launching in 2024!

What We Did

We had a briefing with Culture Creative early in the year to find out about how the trail was going to work for Kew audiences and to discuss the themed areas – including a gothic vampyric graveyard, an atmospheric storm landscape and an abandoned pumpkin patch.  We created the team largely from our existing pool of talent and our costume designer Emma got to work on designing, adapting and creating sixteen character costumes including a drowned Victorian woman lost on the moors, king of the scarecrows and a botanical monster bred from the exotic collections at Kew!

The Result

The trail was incredibly well received, with audiences and client alike being thrilled with the variety and quality of character interaction and good judgement shown by our performers and plans are underway for 2025!
