Illuminated Halloween Trail

Kenwood House 2025

The Brief

In 2025 Kenwood House launched its first illuminated Halloween trail, transforming its historic grounds into an atmospheric after-dark experience for families during October half-term. We were invited by Culture Creative to provide intimate character interactions across the route, helping to bring the trail’s storytelling and settings to life.

What We Did

Our performers created an ensemble of characters woven throughout the illuminated landscape, including a Highwayman/Highwaywoman, a Brontë-esque heroine lost in a storm, a Scarecrow guarding an abandoned pumpkin patch and a mischievous Witch. Each character offered playful, improvised encounters designed to delight young families while enhancing the mood of the trail.

The Result

The new Halloween trail was warmly received by visitors and local audiences, with strong attendance and glowing feedback for its mix of spooky atmosphere and family-friendly fun. One memorable moment saw our Witch character featured live on ITV, playfully interacting with a daytime reporter and bringing the event to a national audience!
