Illuminated Halloween Trail

The Brief

We were thrilled in Spring 2023 to find out that Culture Creative wanted us to return to Blenheim Palace for their illuminated Halloween Trail. An addition, as a result of the success of our character interactions at Chiswick House the previous year – they wanted to double the opportunities for audiences to interact with characters along the trail – could we handle it?

What We Did

We made sure we were well briefed on the overall feel of the trail this year – the spookiness level, the type of audience interaction, the nature of the installation at our dwell points and we created eight new characters – including Warlock, Dracula and two organic swamp monsters for a brand new black lit area of the trail. Key to the success of the characters would be costumes of the highest standard which would match the excellence of the artist installations and work began on these shortly after. Finally, we recruited a stellar team led by the excellent Matt Jones to deliver the event.

The Result

The trail was incredibly well received, with audiences and client alike being thrilled with the variety and quality of character interaction and good judgement shown by our performers.
