East Riding of Yorkshire Council 2025

The Brief

We were invited back by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to support their stand at the Driffield Show and help promote the upcoming winter events programme at Sewerby Hall & Gardens. The challenge was to create something that connected to a winter theme while still working within the lively, summery atmosphere of a busy showground.

What We Did

With a performance space and scheduled slots in the programme, we created a brand new show especially for the event: Snowflakes. Two Snowflakes escape from a shaken snow globe and find themselves loose at Driffield Show on a hot sunny day, determined to make the most of their time before they melt! The performance was highly visual and interactive, celebrating summer fun while introducing audiences to the snowy characters they would later meet at Sewerby Hall’s Winter Woodland events. Alongside the shows, the team also worked on walkabout in character to draw families into the ERYC zone and generate interest in the events programme.

The Result

The show successfully attracted family audiences into the performance area and created a lively buzz around the East Riding of Yorkshire Council stand, helping to promote their winter programme at Sewerby Hall & Gardens and building on an ongoing partnership with the council.
