The Brief

Following the continued success of our character interactions on the Illuminated Halloween Trail, Culture Creative invited us back to Blenheim Palace in 2025 to animate a new set of themed areas with an even greater focus on recognisable characters, heightened interaction and richly detailed environments.

What We Did

Working closely with Culture Creative, we created a new ensemble of characters to inhabit the trail’s latest worlds. These included a Victorian Tomb Raider in an Egyptian tomb setting, complete with a surprise Mummy whose initial sense of menace quickly transformed into joyful, playful encounters with visitors. Other highlights included the Demon Barber equipped with removable teeth, hair, a barber’s chair and a theatrical working meat grinder complete with entrails!!

The Result

The 2025 trail delivered an enhanced level of performance-led interaction, with audiences responding enthusiastically to the new characters and dramatic visual storytelling. The combination of iconic themes, inventive props and skilled character work ensured the Illuminated Halloween Trail continued to feel fresh, surprising and memorable for returning visitors.
