The Woodland Trust
Rusticus have been working with our friends at The Woodland Trust since 2017, and have delighted in discovering both the beautiful woodlands at Skipton Castle Woods and The Smithills Estate whilst helping to celebrate the planting of a new young people’s forest at Mead, Derbyshire! The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity with over 500,000 supporters, 1000 sites and 26,000 hectares all over the UK. Their vision is a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and for wildlife, and they recently unveiled ambitious 10 year plans to rekindle people’s connections with ancient woodlands. Rusticus are delighted to be part of that vision – and have enjoyed creating and delivering atmospheric lantern walks, magical springtime events, wintry wassailing and most recently, a series of digital events for The Smithills Estate. You can see some of those most recent adventures on our Rusticus Digital Adventures page!
