The May half term saw us pilot the two new formats for our adventures which we had worked on during our Arts Council England funded Research & Development project in February and March of this year. We delivered twelve Rusticus Woodland Creatures Theatre performances in our new purpose-built performance space at Sewerby Hall & Gardens and we delivered our Rusticus Adventure Trail format to over 150 families at Thoresby Park and Burnby Hall & Gardens! It was absolutely magic to be meeting families again in beautiful places, and to be exciting the world of the imagination in young and old alike – all in the knowledge that we were operating safely and responsibly both for our audiences and our wonderful actors.
