Camper Calling Festival 2023!

The Brief

We were delighted to be asked back to Camper Calling Festival with our lantern making workshops and adventures. But thrilled to be asked to create a brand new strand to the programming at this year’s festival. Could we create an adventure on an illuminated trail through Ragley Hall’s gardens after dark?

What We Did

The festival had an ambition to create a walkthrough experience after dark which could support large numbers of audience, so first on the agenda was looking at audience throughput, dwell time and logistics. The theme came relatively easily – an adaptation of our Magical Kingdom adventure trail expanded to include more of the Midsummer Night’s Dream story and characters. Each group would be hosted on the trail by a Fairy character – Peaseblossom, Cobweb and Mustardseed and would help solve the quarrel between Oberon and Titania with the help of the Rusticus trees and despite interference from the ever-playful Puck!

The Result

We delivered three successful nights of the Midsummer Nights Dream Trail as well as three days of Lantern Making workshops and a Lantern Adventure at dusk on the Sunday.  We successfully launched this new strand to the festival programming and have been asked back to Camper Calling 2024!
