We’ve had a fabulous Summer with new places, events, people and audiences! We emerged from the shadow of lockdown re-invigorated and with the welcome support from Arts Council England in the form of our Spring Research and Development project, with our highest quality offer yet: three brand new Rusticus Woodland Creatures Theatre performances and our new Rusticus Adventure Trail format! This enabled us to have something that was right for every venue and audience, including our first Deershed Festival in which we entertained fearless families across three brilliant days with a whole raft of Rusticus goodies. In May we took the opportunity to bring new people into the Rusticus fold to help us meet our new season all guns blazing – and we wouldn’t have had such a successful Summer if it wasn’t for them and for our fabulous Rusticus folk who showed flexibility, resilience, good humour and talent in abundance! Thank you to everyone who joined us – here’s to Autumn!
