Burnby Hall Gardens, Pocklington
Rusticus were recommended to the team at Burnby Hall Gardens back in 2015 and have been part of this lovely venue’s fun themed family days, ever since! Family audiences have enjoyed discovering the gardens afresh with a whole host of characters – all attracted by the rockeries, carp-filled Edwardian lakes, aviaries, dovecotes, grassy walks and the charming stumpery! Created by Sir Percy Stewart, a local philanthropist, for the pleasure of future generations – the current team have recently added to this precious heritage with a Heritage Lottery Funded programme of restoration works. 2019 saw the first Rusticus Halloween event at Burnby and in 2020 we’re looking forward to inhabiting the gardens in Spring, Summer and Autumn!
