We are delighted to announce our new season of events at venues across the East Riding. We are tickled pink to have been asked back to Sewerby Hall and Gardens again – and 2015 marks the 5th consecutive year that we have been working with their dedicated team to provide audiences with inspiring family arts experiences (anyone remember the poetry walks of Summer 2011 as part of the Bridlington Poetry Festival??) This year we’ll have all your usual favourites – Adventures with The Forest Fairy, Adventures with the Sewerby Pirate and our Wacky Walk Series – with three new walks for the 2015 season – Wacky Walk: Around the World, Wacky Walk: Great Yorkshire Moments and a new Wacky Walk: Time Travellers!
We are also very much looking forward to spending time at Burnby House and Gardens in Pocklington this Summer. We’ve really enjoyed visiting this Yorkshire hidden gem as punters, especially feeding the fish in the lakes, and discovering the Stumpery! We have three events planned at Burnby this summer, the Forest Fairy will be making an appearance at their Great Pixie and Fairy Gathering on 19 August, Captain Manky O Codfish will be pressganging like crazy at the pirate gathering on August 26, and our intrepid explorer Cuthbert Baring North will be sharing is own special blend of navigational wisdom at the America day on 12 August. If you haven’t yet visited Burnby, then do come along – we’d love to see you!
